Our Cub Pack…

Cub Scouts are boys or girls aged between eight years old and 10.5 years old.

Cubs learn by working through a progression of training, activities and awards. The purpose of scouting is to help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and worldwide communities.

Cub Scouts also get to go camping with the cubs from across East Surrey District. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6.15 to 7.45 (term time).

Leaders: Akela Section Assistants: Tony and Emily. Young Leaders: Marc, Luke and Taylor

In this area you will find all the information you need to join our Cub pack.

Joining our Pack…

For those wanting their child to join cubs, you will need to register your interest by using the contact us link. Your child will then be placed on a waiting list until a place becomes available. The waiting lists are very full in the younger sections so it may be appropriate to offer you opportunities within other groups depending on your postcode. Unfortunately your child may never make it into one of the younger sections but please be assured their name is carried on to the next section and once they turn 10 they can enter into the scout section which isn’t as restrictive on maximum numbers. When you are offered a place you will need to fill out an application to join scouting form in order for us to assess your child’s needs prior to them starting.

We welcome anyone who would be interested in going into uniform and being a qualified, trained leader in order to expand our group and to offer more places to more children.
